Kent Yew Sensei
2nd Dan (Yoshinkan Aikido)
Kent Yew Sensei is a fulltime student and instructor of Aikido Shudokan Malaysia and a registered instructor with the Aikido Yoshinkan Federation, Japan.
Started learning Aikido since 1994 with Sonny Loke Sensei and at the end of year 1997, he was graded to1st Dan black belt by Inoue Kyoichi Kancho who was then the Headmaster of International Yoshinkan Aikido Federation, Japan. In the year of 2003, he joined The Aikido Shudokan Malaysia to further his study under Ramlan Sensei. With the guidance of Ramlan Sensei, two years later, Kent Sensei has been graded to 2nd Dan black belt by Joe Thambu Shihan (7th Dan Yoshinkan Aikido).
Throughout the years of training in Aikido, Kent Sensei has gained a lot of opportunity to train with the world famous Aikido Instructors like Yasuhisa Shioda Kancho (son of Soke Gozo Shioda), Inoue Kyoichi Shihan, Tsutomo Chida Shihan, Thamby Rajah Sensei, Joe Thambu Shihan.
Before joining Aikido, Kent Sensei has been training traditional Chinese Martial Art and Lion Dance with Master Wong Seng Soong since he is 10 years old. At the age of 16, he became the instructor and teaches at some of the local primary school in Malaysia.
